About
Meet your coach:
My name is Sebastian Cano and I am a USA Cycling Level 3 Coach and currently one of the highest ranked Cat 1 cyclists in the United States. I have been an Elite athlete for most of my life as a speedskater for the United States National Team as well as the Colombian National Team. Since I was 15 I was traveling all over the world and training with some of the best sports psychologists, nutritionists, strength and conditioning coaches out of the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs as well as in Colombia. With the help of all of my coaches I was able to win a Junior World Championship in the 3K Track relay in the Discipline of Inline speedskating in Italy (2004). I was also a very successful cyclist at the junior level within Florida but my priority being skating I focused on it and never looked back. Cycling was always an important part of my preparation as a skater so I have been riding and training on the bike for almost 20 years. I was an Olympic hopeful for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in an attempt to be the first Colombian at the Olympics in the discipline of Short Track. After a disappointing qualifying I was not able to go to the Games. So I decided to retire from skating and move back to Miami. I have now been racing full time for the last three years at the local and National Level. I bring years of experience as an elite athlete who has always had a winning mentality. I hope to inspire and help many cyclists achieve their goals by instilling hard work and dedication and keeping them motivated through the process. Cycling is certainly my passion and I hope to pass that on to anyone that crosses paths with me.

With a science-based approach and the years of experience this plan will help you improve your weaknesses and hone your strengths to get the most out of all racing opportunities. We focus on the process to ensure you stay motivated and on track to achieve your goal.

- Biweekly 10-20 minute phone call.

We focus on the process to ensure you stay motivated and on track to achieve your goal with daily communication with the coach. We work together as coach and athlete to make sure we maximize your potential.

One-on-one Strength and Conditioning
In this session I will go over main Olympic lifts as well as squatting, deadlifting to ensure proper technique is being used. During the session we will also get a solid workout in and assess what the best program will be based on current athlete condition. With this session under their belt athlete can begin incorporate strength and conditioning into the training plan in a safe manner.
One-on-one Rides
This rides are meant to serve you at whatever level and whatever your goals are. Great for newer riders who want to learn basic skills, etiquette. Also great for more experienced riders who need the motivation or who want to work on more technical skills like sprinting.
